Mary Holden

Mary was taught to ring at Cirencester, Gloucestershire by her parents in 1990. She joined the society in 2002, during her time at Durham University.
After university, Mary spent 3 years living in the North East, during which time she was Treasurer of the Durham and Newcastle DA for 2 years. Mary was elected Treasurer of the Society in 2006 after moving to London.

Mary is a chartered accountant.

What does the Honorary Treasurer do?

The Treasurer looks after the Society's accounts. The Treasurer updates members at each business meeting on the state of the Society's finances and produces annual accounts. The Treasurer is often to be found at home, making sure the books balance.
