During his visit, he gave a moving address calling us to support him in the ongoing struggle against war, poverty and racism; his final address outside the US before his assassination in April 1968.

He was a ringer at East Harling having learnt at Ixworth, Suffolk. He rang a number of peals at East Harling and surrounding towers.
