Summary of the Membership Debate Published

The Officers have summarised the discussions that have taken place and have published in the 'members only' section of the website.

The discussions were wide-ranging and have provoked thought in a number of areas. We hope we've captured the important points and the flavour of the discussions, which were very constructive.

There are three areas to take forward which are outlined in more detail:

1. A series of small changes and activities that are being proposed by the Officers for discussion now and at the October business meeting
2. Further consideration needs to be given to the "bigger" ideas that would involve a more radical set of changes
3. Further work will be undertaken to consider setting out the Society's aims and / or objectives and members should be consulted on these
