Shoreditch

2011 London Twelve Bell Competition

This year's London 12 bell competition was held at Shoreditch on Saturday 22 October, and was being hosted by the SRCY.

The day started with breakfast being served at 10am, and the draw at 11am after an interesting welcome from the vicar Rev. Paul Turp. The first team started at 11.30am while the beer tent out the front of the church started to make its mark. The test piece was 6 leads of Cambridge S Maximus, with it coming round with plain hunt at the wrong. The last 4 leads were marked.

The results were given at 4.30pm by the chief judge Bill Haynes. They are as follows:

Congratulations to Cornhill.

After the competition and the beer tent was duly finished with, we went to the White Hart to continue the evening in good style.

We hope that everyone enjoyed the day.
