Not The Dinner Day 2008

Not the Dinner Day had a familiar feel: England are losing at Rugby, peals are lost and scored (mostly scored - see below), people are drinking... and curry is on the menu.

A few different faces this year and perhaps a few less regulars. This meant a few different people calling peals... and a few achievements during the day.

The main event of the day was the meal and the Clifton gave us a bit more space this year and plenty of time to talk between courses. Opinion seems divided on whether we could've done better elsewhere. It's just what we expect from a Cumberland fixture - a healthy debate. Never mind how good the bells are, how's the sag aloo?!
