Not the Dinner Day

'Not the Dinner Day' is a well-established informal event on the Cumberland's calendar. The Annual Dinner of the Society was, for many years, held on the first Saturday in February. Since 1994, the Dinner has been a triennial event, usually held on Anniversary weekend in September. The first weekend in February has therefore become Not the Dinner Day. It follows the pattern of peals during the day and a informal meal (usually a curry) in the the evening in Brick Lane.
